What changes the price
Two sites with the same number of pages can differ by thousands of euros. The main drivers:

The running costs people forget
A website keeps costing a little every month. Hosting for a basic site on an online solution should stay around €20 excl. tax a month, and a minimal online shop on a platform like Shopify under €100 a month before commissions, according to France Num. Add the domain name, security updates, backups and the time it takes to change a price or a photo.
Subscription website builders look cheap at the start, but you rent the platform forever and cannot take the site with you. Speed matters too: Google's research found that 53% of mobile visits are abandoned when a page takes longer than three seconds to load.

Most Crénage projects start at €1,500, quoted line by line before anything is due. You pay 50% to start and 50% at launch, or spread the build over up to 6 months from €300 a month. For example, a website quoted at €1,800 becomes 6 monthly payments of €300. Hosting, updates, monitoring and small changes are €100 a month.
